WE ARE BUT THE CHOICES WE MAKE
Every garment begins long before it is stitched.
It begins with a choice.
A choice about the fibres we use, the processes we support, the people we work with, and the impact those decisions leave behind.
For us, sustainability is not defined by a single fabric or certification. It is the result of countless choices made thoughtfully and consistently over time.
The pursuit of better materials has been long, challenging, and ongoing. As we continue to learn, evolve, and discover new possibilities, our commitment remains unchanged: to choose materials that are gentler on people, kinder to the planet, and a pleasure to wear.
What began as a vision for a sustainable men's shirt brand gradually evolved into something larger. Along the way, we discovered remarkable fabrics, traditional practices, and innovative materials that expanded both our imagination and our responsibility.
Today, every Antaratma fabric is chosen with intention.

AYURVEDIC COTTON
Our Ayurvedic cotton is crafted from premium organic cotton and treated using traditional herbal formulations.
The process combines natural fibres with carefully selected Ayurvedic herbs used for colouring, mordanting, and enhancing the fabric's natural qualities. The result is a luxurious textile that is exceptionally soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin.
It represents a meeting point between ancient wisdom and contemporary comfort.

HEMP
Derived from the Cannabis sativa plant, hemp is one of the most sustainable natural fibres available.
It requires minimal resources to grow, supports soil health, and possesses natural antimicrobial properties. Strong, breathable, and remarkably durable, hemp becomes softer with every wear and wash.
The hemp fabrics we use are coloured using azo-free dyes, ensuring comfort without compromising on environmental responsibility.

TENCEL™
Produced from wood sourced from responsibly managed forests, TENCEL™ combines environmental consciousness with exceptional performance.
Smooth, strong, breathable, and biodegradable, it is designed to be gentle on both the skin and the environment. Its ability to regulate moisture and inhibit bacterial growth makes it particularly comfortable for everyday wear.
It is innovation guided by nature.

our DYEING approach
The fabric itself is only part of the story.
How it is processed matters just as much.
We work with suppliers who share our commitment to environmentally responsible production. Our Ayurvedic cotton is coloured using herbal dyeing processes, while many of our other fabrics are sourced from partners who employ harmful-chemical-free dyeing methods and hold recognised certifications such as OEKO-TEX®.
The goal is simple: to create garments that feel as good on the skin as they do on the conscience.

details matter
Our commitment extends beyond fabric.
From coconut shell buttons and cotton labels to thoughtfully selected threads, elastics, and trims, we continuously seek alternatives that reduce environmental impact without compromising quality or durability.
The journey is far from complete. There is always room to improve, and we remain committed to finding better solutions wherever possible.
Because sustainability is not achieved through one perfect decision.
It is built through thousands of mindful ones.

our LABELS
Even our labels reflect the choices we make.
We use organic cotton labels printed with eco-friendly dyes. Over time, these prints may soften or fade—a natural characteristic of environmentally conscious printing processes.
For us, this is not a flaw.
It is a reminder that longevity and responsibility do not always look the way conventional fashion has taught us to expect.
Sometimes the most meaningful choices leave the lightest mark.
